I have been with Feeding America since 1996 — mostly working online. I started as an assistant in the communication/PR department and took over the web site after filling in for the webmaster. Currently, I am the Digital Marketing Manager overseeing the content distribution through the web site and social media spaces.
I really love my job and enjoy the work that I do — in addition to helping people across the country. I have had the privilege of seeing many of the food banks and feeding programs in the country and I am continually amazed at the number of people in need.
I have lived on the north side of Chicago for the past 15 years originally hailing from Minnesota. I have a MFA in theater from Southern Illinois Univeristy and a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College. When I am not working, I enjoy singing at a cabaret bar in Chicago and running in marathons. Those two hobbies keep me busy.
