April Food Day
April 1, 2010
Last year, the bloggers from Easy & Elegant Life and Pigtown*Design joined forces to encourage bloggers across the internet to write about the problem of hunger. They are set to take a step forward today (April 1), in an initiative they’re calling April Food Day.
The 2009 effort was a success with many blogs including information on how people can get involved helping people struggling with hunger. Participating blogs included the Huffington Post, Cooking My Life, All the Best, AriWriter and many others.
The 2010 campaign is kicking off with many bloggers already committing to write about hunger on April 1. We’ve been excited to join the blogging ranks this year with our very newly created blog, and extend our thanks to all the bloggers out there for helping spread the word about hunger.

Great idea. I always get real excited when I see people using technology to help solve hunger issues.
